Meet the founder

Trey Lopez has been passionate about soccer for over a decade, dedicating countless hours to playing, learning, and growing within the sport. His deep love for the game, combined with years of experience on the field, has shaped his commitment to developing young athletes and helping them reach their full potential.  In 2023, Trey began coaching for the Rapids Youth, where he quickly discovered his passion for mentoring players and witnessing their growth firsthand.  Inspired by the impact he could have, he decided to take it a step further—launching Beyond the Goal Soccer Academy to provide personalized training and guidance to young athletes looking to elevate their game. 

Trey’s mission is more than just teaching soccer skills; he aims to instill confidence, discipline, and a true understanding of the game.  Through his academy, he strives to make a lasting difference in children's lives, helping them develop not only as players but as individuals who embrace hard work, teamwork, and perseverance.
